	Octavio Hurtado, Technical Lab Manager, Emeritus B.S. Lowell Technological Institute (now University of Massachusetts, Lowell) Mr. Hurtado is the lead technical manager of the BioMEMS resource center at the CEM. In this capacity, he oversees all projects in our cleanroom, provides advice on new protocols, and conducts training of investigators and fellows. 	Mahnaz Zeinali - Molecular Biologist Ms. Zeinali has been working on multiple projects as a molecular biologist in the CTC team since 2009. She is mainly focusing on Papillary Thyroid Carcinoma, Cell Preservation, Platelets and Microvesicles under the supervision of Shannon Stott and Mehmet Toner. 	Phil Spuhler, Ph.D. Boston University, 2012 Dr. Spuhler is a member of the innovation team at the BioMEMS center, which is developing a platform for antigen agnostic isolation of rare cells by negative selection. The team is pursuing development of negative selection to achieve isolation of circulating tumor cells (CTCs) from whole blood at a purity level that will permit CTC-based genotyping and enable targeted cancer therapies.
