Research Fellows are a critical part of the BMRC's mission. We recruit fellows from a wide range of science and engineering disciplines. Each fellow is expected to manage one or more research projects, and generate multiple papers per year. Fellows typically stay for two or three years, and then move on to faculty or industrial positions. Research Staff
The BMRC hires Research Staff who have completed their Bachelor's or Master's degrees in a science or engineering discipline. Applicants are expected to stay for two or more years, after which they typically move on to graduate studies in prestigious universities, or positions in industry. Research Staff work closely with post-doctoral Research Fellows on a variety of projects of fundamental importance to the BMRC. Summer Internship
The Center for Engineering in Medicine (CEM) invites undergraduate students studying biology, biomedical engineering, or pre-medicine to apply for our 2017 summer internship program. The CEM focuses on a variety of research subjects, including:
- Biopreservation
- Global Health
- Neuroscience
- Organ Re-engineering and Stem Cell Differentiation
- Therapeutics and Applied Immunology
- Tissue Microdevices
Selected applicants will be individually assigned to a post-doctoral fellow within our institute to supervise the student. Applicants will be selected based on academic achievement and availability.
